We are seeking a national leader to join our Distribution Planning and Performance Team--a group of passionate, entrepreneurial professionals committed to driving growth and innovation.


As

Business Manager, Distribution Excellence

, you will lead a national team of Regional Sales Associates, working in close partnership with Regional Sales Managers and Sales Representatives across Canada. This team plays a critical role in supporting advisors through calls, meetings, events, and case preparation. You will also contribute to strategic initiatives and projects that enhance our distribution capabilities and operational performance. You will be a vital link to the field and act as a knowledge centre for distribution.

What you will do:



Provide direct leadership and coaching to the Regional Sales Associate team Foster a culture of success through coaching, empowerment and a forward-thinking mindset Provide an imperative, cross functional liaison framework between our field team and our back-office operations leaders and peers Ensure appropriate onboarding, training and ongoing development of Regional Sales Associates Support employee retention and engagement through thoughtful leadership Partner with senior leaders across Canada Life to align on strategy and execution Contribute to development and coordination of various projects and programs in service of the channel value offering.

What you will bring:



8+ years' experience in the financial services industry + A strong understanding of the financial services business and marketplace + Proven ability to coach and develop high-performing teams
Leadership experience is considered an asset Completion of insurance industry designations is considered an asset (i.e. LLQP, CFP, CHS, CLU) Fluency in French is considered an asset Post-secondary education in a related field (i.e. business, finance; university degree or diploma) As this position is posted in several locations, we specify that bilingualism is an asset (fluent in French and English) but is required for Quebec only as the position will regularly serve our clients with French and English-speaking needs.

The base salary for this position is between

$76,400.00

- $141,400.00

annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
