Responsibilities

Designs, develops and maintains enterprise Business Intelligence (BI) solutions and products to support end-users on business planning and decision making. Maintains BI technology, analytical solutions and supports related components used in BI products. Researches the development, reporting and analytical technologies to recommend and validate the refinements to the BI strategy and support the implementation. Serves as a liaison between the end users and the business information team and provides resolution and analytical support through client interactions and requests.
Qualifications

EDUCATION:
Diploma in computer science from a recognized institute of technology including courses in database design, programming, business and systems analysis.
EXPERIENCE:
Requires three (3) years of recent related experience in data warehousing, business intelligence, information management or analytics. Must have the client-focused capability and experience producing information products with a variety of BI tools. A further period of up to one (1) year in the position is required to become familiar with TransLink's information systems, policies, procedures, environment and its user requirements, as well as corporate road maps and corporate data models.

Recruitment Process: An applicant will be required to demonstrate their suitability for this position by meeting the minimum level of qualifications and experience in order to be invited into the selection process. A standard interview format will be used including general, scenario and behavioural descriptive interview questions.

This is a full-time temporary position with an expected end date of July 31,2026.

Rate of Pay
---------------
Salary $8,236 - $9,896 per month (Actual salary offered will be commensurate with education, experience and internal parity).
The Total Compensation Package includes Extended Health, Transit Pass and enrollment in the Public Service Pension Plan upon eligibility.
