Job Description

Responsibilities



Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and Looker to provide clear insights into business performance. Design and implement ETL processes utilizing Talend, Python, Bash (Unix shell), and SQL to extract, transform, and load data from various sources including Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and Linked Data repositories. Conduct comprehensive data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process improvements or strategic initiatives. Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications aligned with SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) best practices. Manage projects using Agile methodologies and project management tools to ensure timely delivery of BI solutions. Perform database design and optimization to support scalable data storage and retrieval strategies. Utilize VBA and Visio for process modeling and automation tasks as needed. Ensure data quality, consistency, and security across all reporting platforms. Stay current with industry trends in analytics tools and techniques to continuously enhance BI capabilities.

Requirements



Proven experience in Business Intelligence development with proficiency in Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar visualization tools. Strong knowledge of SQL programming with experience in Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or other relational databases. Hands-on experience with ETL tools such as Talend or scripting languages like Python and Bash (Unix shell). Familiarity with SDLC processes, Agile project management methodologies, and project lifecycle management. Expertise in data analysis skills including statistical analysis, data modeling, and database design. Experience working with R for statistical computing or analysis is a plus. Knowledge of business analysis principles to effectively gather requirements from stakeholders. Ability to work with linked data sources and perform complex data integration tasks. Skills in VBA scripting for automation purposes and Visio for process documentation are desirable. Strong analytical thinking combined with excellent communication skills to present findings clearly to non-technical audiences. Pay: $70,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
