Business Analyst, Professional Services

Adobe Customer Solutions Delivery Operations

Position Summary:

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Professional Services Operations team as we support a rapidly growing consulting organization. As a member of the PS Revenue Analytics team, the Business Analyst will play a key role in helping the business make informed decisions by presenting information in innovative ways. Specifically, this role will have an emphasis on using data visualization to present large amounts of information in ways that is easy to interpret and spot patterns, trends, and correlations. This role will also have a technical portion too using different tools and languages to access data in order to create visualizations.

You are a good fit for this position if you are experienced with data visualization, passionate about good UI/UX, comfortable in a fast paced organization, and passionate about partnering with other engineers, analysts, and the business. We are using agile product development principles -- iterating quickly while remaining flexible to the needs of the business -- to stay focused on delivering value and unlocking growth for the Professional Services business.

What You'll Do:

• Working with business partners to understand the customer and business questions they are trying to solve
• Ownership in creating, publishing, and scheduling Power BI reports meeting business needs.
• Knowing your audience and how it processes visual information. There's a different presentation required for a Project Manager or a VP!
• Ability to work with large amounts of information and see the 'bigger picture'.
• Implement row-level security on data and understand application security layer models in Power BI.
• Creating writeback tool using Power App and automating for various business requirements.

• 3-5 years' experience in software, SaaS and/or related industry
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or similar.
• Experience in creating dashboards and data visualization for different audiences
• Strong knowledge of Business Intelligence tools (PowerBI Preferred)
• Must be strong in writing complex SQL queries.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of DAX and MDX
• Demonstrable layout & UI/UX abilities (constantly thinking about the end user).
• Experience in Python preferred along with the predictive model building.
• Knowledge of cloud technology such as Azure Data Lake, Databricks, and ETL
• Self-starter who can handle sophisticated tasks with minimal direction and develop new strategies and ways of approaching business challenges.
• Strong project management, planning, and organizational skills, including ability to handle several projects at a time in a fast-paced environment.
