Who are you?

You are an experienced Business Generation Coordinator with 3 years minimum post-graduate experience in a similar role looking for the next step or are currently undertaking a similar role in a similar environment.



Working closely with our Business Generation and Marketing Lead, Canada, the Business Generation Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the development, planning and implementation of marketing and business development programs to expand Turner & Townsend\xe2\x80\x99s brand profile and market share within the region. This role is based in our Toronto office.

To be successful, the incumbent must be able to demonstrate a sound understanding of business development practices, effectively implement the proposal / bid preparation process, and demonstrate strong project management skills. He/She will nurture highly collaborative internal client relationships with segment/service line professionals and SMEs to drive an integrated approach.

Specific responsibilities associated with the Business Generation Coordinator role include:

Business development:

  • Partner with client-facing professionals to develop winning marketing assets for new business development \xe2\x80\x93 supporting the strategy, development and production of custom proposals, bids, presentations, and other client deliverables.
  • Control deliverables from inception to delivery and communicate successfully with internal team during the lifecycle of an assignment to ensure compliance with deadlines and requirements.
Content management:
  • Provide hands-on project management support for the development of a wide range of sales and marketing materials, including case studies, capability documents, service descriptions, team CVs/resumes, etc.
Reporting:
  • Manage the various business development and client databases (e.g., CMD) at the local level, ensuring staff are aware of them, using them properly and that the data within them is accurate.
Other:
  • Quality controls: Ensure all work is performed on time, cost effectively and according to Turner & Townsend\xe2\x80\x99s high-quality standards.
  • Assist regional and global business generation and marketing teams, as needed.
  • Perform other marketing and business generation related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree, or the equivalent in prior marketing and business development experience.
  • 3+ years of experience across bid management and corporate marketing/communications, preferably within the construction consultancy, advisory, legal, architecture, or real estate industries.
  • Should be a self-starter and possess a strong ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously to tight deadlines, with an ability to work in a highly collaborative team environment.
  • Creative thinker with an ability to communicate complex ideas in a simple way, both written and verbally.
  • Strong PC skills required. Expert in the use of Microsoft Office package, especially MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
