Job Description

Central Rx Group and Affiliated Businesses are rapidly growing healthcare organizations operating multiple businesses. We are looking for a highly organized and motivated Business Executive to oversee finance, HR, payroll, and administrative operations across all of our companies.

This role is ideal for someone with strong business acumen who enjoys building systems, solving problems, and supporting high-growth organizations. MBA or equivalent business education preferred.

About the Role



You will serve as a key business executive supporting ownership. Your primary responsibilities will include accounting oversight, HR management, payroll administration, recruitment, and general business operations. This is a hands-on role with in-office and external roles.

Qualifications



MBA or Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, HR, or related field Experience in multi-entity business operations is an asset Strong understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping Knowledge of Alberta employment standards and payroll processing Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities High level of professionalism, discretion, and reliability

Key Responsibilities



Finance & Accounting



Oversee bookkeeping and financial operations for multiple corporations Coordinate with external accountants for year-end and tax filings Prepare monthly financial statements, reports, and cash flow updates Manage payables, receivables, reconciliations, and budgeting

Payroll & HR



Administer payroll across all businesses Ensure compliance with Alberta employment standards Maintain employee records, contracts, and HR files Develop and update HR policies and employee handbooks

Hiring & People Management



Lead full-cycle recruitment (job postings, screening, interviews, onboarding) Support performance management and disciplinary processes Handle terminations professionally and in compliance with legislation

Business Operations



Assist ownership with organizational planning and executive tasks Manage corporate filings, insurance renewals, licensing and compliance calendars Coordinate with contractors, vendors, legal counsel, and professional partners Support special projects including new business ventures, expansions, and other related and un-related operations.
