What you can expect to do here:
Identify and pursue potential clients through networking and marketing methods across Alberta
Attend seminars and networking events
Monitor market trends and explore new avenues for clients and revenue opportunities
Develop connections and networking in key sector areas and markets
Build and maintain industry relationships
Review and prepare proposals and fee letters, single and multi-disciplinary
Collaborate across disciplines for multi-disciplinary proposals
Manage key contracts for major Clients and acting as prime contact within WSP
Support project planning, scheduling, and budgeting activities.
Assist in the development of project scopes, objectives, and deliverables.
Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies as required.
Respond promptly to client inquiries and resolve issues to ensure client satisfaction.
Prepare regular reports on business development activities, project status, and sales performance.
Maintain accurate records of contacts, leads, proposals, and project documentation.
What you'll bring to WSP:
Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or a related field.
5+ years' experience in business development or technical sales, preferably within building projects or the construction industry.
Proven project management experience is a strong asset.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
Ability to travel to client sites, events, and meetings as required.
