Job Summary

We are seeking a Sr. Business Development Analyst to join the Commercial Setup and Readiness Division of the LTC Business & Project Development Department. The division is responsible for leading business development activities as the proponent including the development of complementing business elements necessary to de-risk the LTC program. Further, the division is tasked to provide necessary integration and govern commercial development of LTC projects\' related transactions and commercial agreements and contracts. The candidate will ensure implementation of work in accordance with the project scope, set plans, and handle contingencies that arise during execution.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain stakeholder relationships
  • Negotiate contract/legal agreements\' terms with potential partners and stakeholders and communicate with concerned parties
  • Support and work collaboratively with project teams to ensure contracts/agreements are developed and executed as agreed
  • Gather useful information from customer and competitor data
  • Make presentations to prospective partners and internal executives
  • Prepare and submit executable contracts and commercial agreements, in alignment with internal governance processes
  • Manage and oversee the strategic direction of commercial contracts and legal agreements through cross-functional leadership, aligned with commercial and business strategy
  • Identify, validate, and implement recommendations for all commercial contracts and legal agreements related to the LTC program
  • Serve as the liaison between Commercial Operations, Legal, and Compliance regarding legal documents, ensuring compliance with statutes, laws, guidelines, policies, and procedures
  • Identify commercial and operational risks associated with the contracts and legal documents mentioned above
  • Read and analyze a large volume of contractual materials
  • Proofread, edit, and fact-check legal documents for accuracy and consistency
  • Familiarity with contracting and reporting mechanisms
  • Day-to-day management of attorneys, contract specialists, and temporary staff.
Requirements:
  • This role required candidate to permanently relocate at Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.
  • Hold a Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering from a recognized and approved program. Alternatively, a Bachelor\'s degree in accounting, business administration, economics, finance, or law, with extensive experience in the refining and petrochemicals field.
  • Have a minimum of 5 years of experience with a focus in the Refining & Chemicals business and their integration.
  • Have an additional 5 years of experience in business development and commercial contract development.
  • Possess a technical and commercial background related to industrial clusters and chemicals parks.
  • Proven working experience as a business development manager or contract specialist.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Market knowledge.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build rapport with stakeholders.
  • Effective time management and planning skills.
