BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT SALES PROFESSIONAL


Cornwall\'s award-winning Transport Company, Seaway Express, a division of Canada Cartage, is looking for a highly motivated Business Development Professional who will be responsible for fostering and developing new customer relationships. Their goal is to achieve revenue/ bottom-line growth within our service area and includes a competitive salary with extended health benefits.


This full-time position is based in Cornwall

Responsibilities :

• 
  Drive revenue/sales/bottom-line results for assigned portfolio of customers and by securing new customers.
• Identify and secure, upsell and cross sell opportunities with new prospects and current customers for additional revenue.
• Build & maintain strong relationships and a network of prospects.
• Internal Collaboration with Operations and Pricing.
• Utilize customer feedback to identify areas of opportunity to improve account management performance as well as build and execute action plans to better meet expectations.
• Conduct business reviews, preparing and communicating periodic sector KPI reports with customers to help them compare their actual versus budgeted amounts and track the progress accordingly.
• Pro-actively anticipate customer\xe2\x80\x99s business needs and identify opportunities to establish a long-term business relationship; thereby fully integrating our services throughout a customers\xe2\x80\x99 network.
• Analyze costing models and maintain threshold gross margins and implement yearly contractual price adjustments.
• Introduce customers to the latest technology, policies, processes, and recommendations to reduce cost through supply chain efficiencies.
• Comprehensive understanding of the customers supply chain, their strategies, and goals.
• Defined account plan that consists of actions which drive continuous improvement, customer satisfaction & growth.
