Outside Sales / Business Development - Freight Division
Location: Hamilton, ON
OTE (Total Compensation):
$75,000-$105,000+ annually (commensurate with experience and performance) Includes base salary + 3-5% commission on revenue generated
Travel reimbursement, and company vehicle use.

We're looking for a motivated professional to help us build new business, secure freight contracts, and grow our client network. This is a forward-facing role that blends sales strategy with genuine relationship-building. What You'll Do
Generate new business opportunities through site visits, cold calling, and networking
Identify new markets, and contracts to increase fleet business
Visit prospective clients across Southern Ontario to introduce our freight services
Exceed all standards for prospecting calls, presentations, proposals and closes
Negotiate contracts and rate agreements
Provide activity reports of your sales efforts on a regular basis
Participate in sales management reporting, including forecasting, reporting, and performance analysis to be presented to the CEO
Manage and nurture accounts you bring in, ensuring strong service and retention
What We're Looking For
Minimum 2 years of B2B Sales Experience, ideally within freight, logistics, or 3PL services
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to identify and capitalize on new opportunities
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel (including occasional multi-day trips across Canada) to visit clients
Compensation & Perks
OTE (Total Compensation): $75,000-$105,000+ annually (depending on performance and experience)
Base Salary: $45,000-$75,000 (depending on experience)
3-5% direct commission from accounts secured
Tools for success: laptop, travel reimbursement, and access to company vehicle for client visits
Growth Path
Successful candidates will have an opportunity of a clear path toward becoming a Business Development Manager within 12-18 months. As the freight division grows, this role will expand into broader business development across logistics, storage, steel, and trucking.
