We are a specialized home support staffing agency, connecting qualified care professionals with families and organizations in need. Our mission is to make reliable, personalized care accessible through strategic partnerships. We are now seeking a driven and locally-knowledgeable Business Development Representative to build and grow our network of institutional clients across Vancouver.

The Role:

You will be our front-line ambassador in the Vancouver market, focused on proactively identifying and onboarding organizations that require home support services for their clients, patients, or members. This is not just a sales role--it's about building meaningful, long-term partnerships and becoming the go-to staffing resource in the local community.

Key Responsibilities:

Local Market Penetration: Identify, research, and directly engage potential organizational clients across Vancouver, including but not limited to:

Healthcare Facilities: Hospitals, clinics, rehab centers

Senior Care Organizations: Nursing homes, assisted living facilities, retirement communities

Corporate Partners: Insurance companies (long-term care divisions), employee benefits providers

Community & Government Bodies: Social service agencies, non-profits, public health networks

Outreach & Relationship Building: Conduct cold calls, emails, in-person visits, and networking to connect with key decision-makers.

Needs Assessment & Solution Presentation: Understand client-specific staffing challenges and present tailored staffing solutions.

Partnership Development: Negotiate agreements, close contracts, and ensure smooth onboarding of new clients.

Network Growth: Establish and maintain a sustainable pipeline of institutional partners, acting as the local face and intelligence hub for the company.

Who You Are:

Must have: Deep familiarity with Vancouver's healthcare, senior care, insurance, or community services landscape. Existing local network in these sectors is a strong advantage.

A natural connector: Fearless in prospecting, skilled at building trust with new contacts, and persistent in outreach.

Self-motivated & resilient: Goal-driven, able to work independently, and thrives in a hunting-style role.

Business savvy: Quick to identify opportunities and assess partnership potential.

An excellent communicator: Professional, articulate, and confident in both in-person and phone interactions.

Experienced: Previous background in sales, business development, B2B outreach, or staffing/HR services is preferred.

Language: Fluency in English is required. Proficiency in Mandarin or Cantonese is a significant plus.

Logistics: Must have valid authorization to work in Canada, and access to a reliable vehicle for local client visits.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week

Work Location: In person
