  • This opportunity is a 6-months contract.
Due to new solution innovations at Sun Life, we are seeking highly motivated Business Development Representatives to join our team to support the launch and adoption of a new program.

This newly established sales team with be responsible for qualifying, converting and onboarding providers onto the new platform. The team will work with dental practitioners ranging from business owners to office managers to drive awareness and enrollments to this new program that will unlock new patients for the practice.

Ideal candidates for this role are goal oriented, self-starters, who demonstrate strong communication skills over the phone. They are able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and have a desire to learn and embrace challenge and change.

What will you do?

Proactively conducting 50-70 outbound calls from a curated list of targeted leads;

Qualifying providers and articulating the value proposition;

Demonstrating the value of Sun Life\xe2\x80\x99s brand new platform, over the phone and through web conferencing tools;

Converting leads through strategic follow up techniques; and

Supporting client success efforts as needed.

What do you need to succeed?

Post-secondary education, or equivalent experience;

1-2 years experience in a business development, cold calling or sales environment, preferred;

Experience with Salesforce CRM is considered an asset;

Excellent communication skills \xe2\x80\x93 both written and verbal;

Self-starter \xe2\x80\x93 motivated by exceeding sales KPI\xe2\x80\x99s, resilient and disciplined; and

Coachable \xe2\x80\x93 ability to embrace learning new skills and ideas.

The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other factors. In addition to Base Pay, eligible Sun Life employees participate in various incentive plans, payment under which is discretionary and subject to individual and company performance. Certain sales focused roles have sales incentive plans based on individual or group sales results.
