Canada Trade Signs is seeking a proactive and results-driven

Business Development Representative

to join our growing team. This role is responsible for generating new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and driving revenue growth through strategic sales efforts. The ideal candidate will be skilled in prospecting, sales presentations, and client negotiations, with a passion for delivering high-quality signage solutions to businesses across Canada.

Key Responsibilities:



1. Lead Generation & Prospecting



Conduct cold calls, emails, and social media outreach to potential clients. Identify and qualify leads based on industry, budget, and project scope. Develop and maintain a pipeline of prospects through CRM management. Conduct door-to-door visits to targeted businesses to promote signage solutions.

2. Sales & Client Management



Schedule and attend meetings with potential clients to present signage solutions. Provide quotes, proposals, and detailed project estimates to prospects. Follow up with leads to move them through the sales pipeline. Establish and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.

3. Sales Process Execution



Utilize the CRM system to track and manage sales activities. Conduct needs assessments and provide tailored signage solutions. Handle client objections, negotiate pricing, and close deals. Work closely with the project management team to ensure smooth project execution.

4. Market Research & Strategy



Research industry trends and competitor offerings to identify market opportunities. Develop outreach strategies to penetrate new markets and industries. Attend networking events, trade shows, and business expos to expand the client base.

5. Performance Tracking & Reporting



Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets: Submit daily and weekly sales reports detailing activities and progress. Provide insights on client feedback and suggest improvements to sales strategies.

Skills & Qualifications:



Proven experience in B2B sales, business development, or a related role. Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and meet sales targets consistently. Familiarity with CRM systems (PipeDrive, ShopVox or similar) and sales reporting tools. Comfortable with cold calling, door-to-door sales, and digital outreach. Knowledge of the signage, construction, or design industry is an asset. Ability to read blueprints and understand signage installation processes is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits:



Base Salary:

$50,000 per year.

Commission Structure is Tier Based.

Pay: $45,000.00-$201,394.01 per year
