About Rally: Rally is a legal tech company that is fundamentally changing the way that lawyers work with our latest product Spellbook. No longer will lawyers have to search databases or previously completed documents to find a specific clause, or have to spend hours reviewing documents. Spellbook is the first AI powered drafting and document review tool built on a Large Language Models (including the LLM behind ChatGPT, GPT-4). Spellbook has extremely high product-market fit and is proving to be a game changer for lawyers in just about every practice area. We are venture-backed and currently have a team of around 20. We closed a financing round at the end of last year and are very well capitalized. We are looking to bring on energetic self-starters that are ready to grow with our fast-growing company. Business Development Representative role description:
  • The BDR role is a dynamic sales position where you will get exposure to every component of the sales cycle. From qualifying inbound leads to giving presentations to negotiating deals and to close, you will be involved in all of it right from the start.

  • You are an exceptionally strong communicator and can function effectively within a distributed team
  • You are comfortable conveying feedback to the product team on features/configurations that will make Rally more valuable and easier to adopt
Business Development Representative job description and responsibilities:
  • Work with leads to understand their business challenges.
  • Following up with prospects several times throughout the sales cycle to ensure needs are being met.
  • Presenting and demonstrating the value of products and services to prospective buyers.
  • Keeping current on sales strategies and handbooks.
  • Staying current on company offerings and industry trends.
  • Maintaining a database of contact information (Hubspot).
  • Building long-lasting, mutually beneficial relationships with external contacts and internal departments to create a better customer experience.
  • Comfortable running deals with large organizations and with multiple stakeholders.
