Business Development Representative - Outbound

(Must be in Montreal in office/hybrid model)

The Role

We are working with a great client of ours who is on a mission to replace inefficient paper based workflows with a mobile first solution as they recognize that a good majority of the workforce is not in front of a computer.

As the Business Development Rep (BDR) you are considered one of the most vital roles in the company! You are responsible for prospecting and generating new pipeline opportunities for the Account Executives through cold outreach. You will identify new target companies to go after and get them curious to learn more. Once they have agreed to learn more, you schedule a qualifying call with the Account Executives. The ideal candidate loves surpassing targets and thrives in a fast paced high pressure environment.

Responsibilities

  • You will handle a high volume of trial leads every day. You will be a product expert who is highly knowledgeable about the product and ensure trial users get the most value out of the product.
  • You will qualify the leads for our paid plans and convert those leads into meetings for the Sales team.
  • You are excited to make 100+ calls per day in addition to managing system-generated emails, text messages, and other mechanisms of outreach.
  • You are able to manage follow-up tasks, understand prioritizations, and juggle calendars, organization is key!
  • You are excited to learn new technology as you will gain access to a robust technology stack and become a master of using systems like Salesforce, Outreach, ZoomInfo, and others.
Requirements
  • Passionate about uncovering and generating new revenue opportunities by cold calling and other outreach methods (We\xe2\x80\x99ll coach you until you master the skill if you don\xe2\x80\x99t already have)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable moving fast, multi-tasking, and keeping the energy high
  • Must be detail-oriented and organized.
  • A positive, passionate, creative, smart, high-character personality
  • BA degree or higher
  • Experience with modern sales tech stacks: Salesforce, Outreach, DiscoverOrg, etc. is a nice to have but not a must have as you will gain exposure to these tools in this role.
