As a small but growing program, we are seeking a motivated, part-time Business Development Representative to help us connect with more schools and organizations in the Peel and Halton regions. We are looking for an energetic and results-driven individual to support our business growth. This role is perfect for someone who loves working with people and has an interest in educational programs. Whether you are looking for experience or just a casual part time job, the position offers flexible hours and the opportunity to work remotely.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns to promote our STEM/STEAM program.
Identify and engage potential customers (parents, schools, community organizations) through email, phone calls, and social media.
Attend virtual or in-person events (as needed) to promote the program and build relationships with community partners.
Build relationships with potential organizations that provide programs for children in grades K-8.
Connect with local businesses for sponsorships.
Qualifications:
Strong interest in STEM/STEAM education and a passion for helping others.
Previous experience in sales, marketing, or customer service (preferred but not required).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Comfortable working independently and managing a flexible schedule.
Experience with social media platforms and basic digital marketing tools (such as Constant Contact, Canva, Google Analytics, etc.) is a plus.
Self-motivated, organized, and goal-oriented.
Entrepreneurial Spirit.
A current Vulnerable Sector Check from local police agency.
