MOPSINC is growing and we're looking for a Business Development Representative !

As our Business Development Representative, you will be the face of MOPSINC to both current and prospective clients. Your role blends relationship management with sales strategy, ensuring our existing contracts stay strong while opening the door to new opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:



Meet with current clients regularly to review contracts, increase rates where appropriate, and identify upsell opportunities. Prospect new business through cold calls, door knocking, and targeted outreach campaigns. Network actively by attending local business events, chamber of commerce gatherings, trade shows, and community activities. Build relationships through both professional and social channels; including golf outings and client entertainment. Be the primary point of contact for clients, handling their needs with professionalism and care. Develop and execute strategies to reach ideal client demographics, expanding MOPSINC's presence in the commercial janitorial market.

Who You Are:



Confident, outgoing, and able to build trust quickly. Experienced in sales, account management, or business development, preferably in a service-based industry (janitorial, facilities, construction, restoration, etc.). Skilled at closing deals, negotiating contracts, and upselling services. Comfortable with cold calling and in-person prospecting. Professional in appearance and communication (able to move seamlessly between a boardroom meeting and a golf course). Highly motivated, with a proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.

Qualifications:



3+ years of business development, sales, or account management experience. Strong presentation and negotiation skills. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Willingness to travel locally and attend client sites/events.

Bonus:

Experience in janitorial, facilities management, or B2B service sales.

Pay: $45,000.00 per year
