As a Business Development Representative (BDR) at PixMob, your primary responsibility will be to identify and generate leads within the Entertainment and tours. You will research and target potential clients, engage with them, and qualify their interest and fit for PixMob\'s solutions. You will then pass these qualified leads to Account Managers who will further nurture the relationships and close deals. This role requires strong prospecting skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of the Entertainment and tours industry. Some travel will be required.

Your role on our team:

Conduct research and prospecting activities to identify potential clients within the entertainment and tours industry, including event organizers, concert promoters, tour managers, and production companies.

Utilize various sources such as industry events, online platforms, and referrals to generate high-quality leads.

Initiate contact with prospective clients through various communication channels (phone, email, social media) and effectively communicate PixMob\'s value proposition, product offerings, and capabilities.

Understand their needs and challenges, and qualify their interest and fit for PixMob\'s solutions.

Conduct thorough needs assessments and gather relevant information to determine the viability of leads.

Evaluate prospects based on their requirements, budget, timeline, and decision-making authority.

Collaborate with Account Managers to ensure a smooth handoff of qualified leads.

Work closely with Account Managers to provide them with detailed information about qualified leads.

Share insights, feedback, and any relevant client context to facilitate the seamless transition of leads into the sales process.

In some cases, assist with proposal preparation, presentations, and any additional information required during the sales process.

Collaborate on pricing, contracts, and negotiations to support the closing of deals.

Build and maintain positive relationships with potential clients, focusing on understanding their needs, addressing their concerns, and positioning PixMob as a trusted partner.

Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the lead qualification process.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all leads, prospect interactions, and sales activities using CRM software.

Provide regular reports and updates on lead generation efforts, pipeline status, and performance metrics to support strategic decision-making.

You are the person for this role if you fit the following criteria:

Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience;

Lead qualification training

Proven experience in a business development or sales role within the entertainment industry.

Strong understanding of the entertainment and tours market, including key players, industry dynamics, and emerging trends.

Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.

Proactive, self-motivated, and target-driven mindset with a track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales goals.

Exceptional networking and relationship-building abilities, with a customer-centric approach.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities and provide innovative solutions.

Flexibility to travel and attend industry events as required (Canada, USA and international).

Flexibility in operating within developing structures and comfort with frequently changing priorities.

Nice to have:

Ability to communicate in multiple languages is a plus (ie. Spanish, French, other).

Experience in the world of live events is a terrific asset (concerts, corporate events; music festivals, touring productions, lighting design);

This position is based out of our Nashville office. However, occasional remote work is possible
