Your responsibilities will include:Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in targeted industries.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with key decision-makers, ensuring client needs are understood and met.
Proposal Development and Bid Coordination:
  • Collaborate with internal teams to prepare comprehensive project bids and proposals.
  • Ensure all submissions align with client requirements and company capabilities.
Market Analysis and Strategy:
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, emerging opportunities, and competitor insights.
  • Develop strategic plans to expand the company's presence in key markets.
Networking and Brand Representation:
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions.
  • Act as a knowledgeable ambassador, promoting the company's services and value proposition.
QualificationsTo succeed in this role, candidates should demonstrate the following:Education & Experience:
  • A degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
  • 3-5 years of experience in business development, sales for a general contractor, or bidding on construction projects.
Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in CRM platforms, Microsoft Office Suite, and project bid software.
  • Familiarity with construction industry standards and terminology is an asset.
Key Competencies:
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • A proactive mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
