Business Development Representative – Commercial Contracts

About Us



We are a professional moving and transportation company serving the Ottawa-Outaouais region (and beyond). Our services range from office relocations to logistics support for businesses. As we expand, we are looking for a driven individual to help us build strong relationships with

commercial clients

and secure ongoing contracts.

Responsibilities



Identify and connect with businesses that require moving, logistics, or transportation support (e.g., office relocations, warehouse transfers, retail deliveries, restoration companies, etc.). Build partnerships with local and regional companies to establish long-term service agreements. Approach property managers, facility managers, and business owners to present our services. Research industries that frequently require moving and transportation (offices, construction, restoration, manufacturing, etc.). Negotiate terms, prepare proposals, and close deals with commercial clients. Keep track of leads, opportunities, and closed contracts to report progress. (Optional) Explore government procurement opportunities as an additional source of contracts.

Qualifications



Previous experience in sales, business development, or B2B partnerships. Strong networking, communication, and relationship-building skills. Comfortable with outreach (calls, emails, visits, networking events). Goal-oriented and able to work independently. Knowledge of moving, logistics, or transportation industries is an asset (but not required).

Compensation



This role is

100% commission-based

- your earnings are directly tied to your results.

No income cap

: the more contracts you secure, the more you earn. High earning potential for motivated and experienced business developers. Commission structure will be discussed during the interview and is designed to reward strong performance.

Responsabilites



Identifier et approcher les entreprises ayant besoin de services de demenagement, de logistique ou de transport (ex. : bureaux, entrepots, commerces de detail, compagnies de construction, compagnies de restauration apres sinistre, etc.). Developper des partenariats avec des gestionnaires immobiliers, des proprietaires d'entreprises et des responsables d'installations. Negocier et conclure des contrats commerciaux a long terme. Faire de la prospection active (appels, courriels, visites sur le terrain, evenements de reseautage). Rechercher des secteurs d'activites qui necessitent regulierement des services de transport/demenagement. Preparer des propositions et assurer le suivi des opportunites. (Optionnel) Identifier et suivre des opportunites de contrats gouvernementaux.

Remuneration



Poste

100% commission

: vos revenus dependent de vos resultats.

Aucun plafond de revenus

: plus vous signez de contrats, plus vos commissions augmentent. Potentiel de revenus eleve pour les personnes motivees et experimentees.

Profil recherche



Experience en ventes, developpement des affaires ou partenariats B2B (un atout). Solides competences en communication et en reseautage. Autonomie, sens de l'organisation et motivation par les resultats. A l'aise avec la prospection et la prise de contact directe. Connaissance du secteur du demenagement/transport est un atout (mais non obligatoire).
