We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, reaching out to potential clients via phone and email, and driving sales growth. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for technology sales, demonstrating the ability to engage effectively with B2B clients. This position requires a proactive approach to outbound calling and marketing efforts to generate leads and convert prospects into loyal customers.
Duties
Conduct outbound calling and warm calling to prospective clients to generate interest in our products and services
Utilize CRM software, such as Salesforce, to track interactions and manage customer relationships effectively
Engage in telemarketing efforts to promote our offerings and schedule meetings for the sales team
Collaborate with the marketing department to develop strategies that enhance lead generation efforts
Demonstrate strong negotiation skills to close deals and foster long-term partnerships
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities
Prepare reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and forecasts for management review
Experience
Proven experience in B2B sales or inside sales roles, preferably in technology or technical sales environments
Familiarity with CRM software tools is essential; experience with Salesforce is highly desirable
Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information clearly
Demonstrated ability in negotiation and closing techniques within a sales context
Experience in customer service roles that require building rapport with clients and understanding their needs
Knowledge of marketing principles as they relate to lead generation and business development strategies
