About the Role
As a
Business Development Representative (BDR)
, you'll play a critical role in
expanding PaintScout's reach
through event marketing, partnership development, and targeted business growth initiatives. This is a
hybrid role
based out of our Calgary head office, designed for someone who thrives on
networking, building relationships, and creating opportunities
. You'll represent PaintScout at
industry events and trade shows

foster strategic partnerships
, and collaborate closely with our sales and marketing teams to
drive awareness and generate leads
.
Responsibilities
Represent PaintScout at industry events, trade shows, and conferences
to build awareness and grow our customer base.
Develop and maintain strategic partnerships
with key stakeholders in the painting and home services industries.
Engage prospective customers
through networking, presentations, and personalized outreach to drive demo bookings.
Collaborate with marketing and sales teams
to create effective campaigns and growth strategies.
Track and analyze the performance
of events, partnerships, and outreach initiatives to optimize ROI.
Support
ancillary sales activities
when needed to help move prospects through the sales pipeline.
Qualifications
Strong
interpersonal and communication skills

Experience in
business development, partnerships, or sales
(B2B SaaS or home services industry experience is a plus).
Comfortable
travelling to the US regularly
for events.
Highly
organized, proactive, and self-motivated
, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Passion for
technology, growth, and helping small businesses succeed

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)
Experience in
event planning, sponsorships, or partnership management
.
Familiarity with
HubSpot CRM.
Understanding of
digital marketing strategies
for B2B SaaS.
Prior experience working within the
painting, contracting, or home services industries
