Position Overview:
The Business Development Representative (BDR) is responsible for identifying and creating new qualified opportunities for their Account Executive partners. This role manages the outbound campaigns of their sales division by qualifying active buying interest and identifying critical decision makers to successfully position the Compugen value proposition. BDRs who establish high performance and are strong representations of the Compugen Core Values will have potential for new challenges and career advancement.
Key Responsibilities:
Make 60+ outbound contacts each day
Identify & engage with accounts to acquire & develop business for COMPUGEN products and solutions solely with the exception of non-competitive services and offerings.
Be familiar with the COMPUGEN "Sales methodology" and work meticulously and strategically with the newly created SMB team all while engaging in the same efforts including lead generation, solution offering, closing, and nurturing.
Demonstrate ability to build strong professional relationships with key IT & business executives.
Collaborate with COMPUGEN Channel partners to initiate customer acquisition & development strategies.
Develop a quarterly plan to increase COMPUGEN Mid-Market growth in region with our device as a service play.
Leveraging sales tools such as LinkedIn Navigator to network with potential customers
Achieving and exceeding metrics (activity, appointments, qualified leads, etc.) - Crush your quota
Gain business knowledge through researching how different businesses operate, leadership structures, what their pain points are and challenges they face everyday
Effective questioning, probing and listening that leads to a successful sales cycle
Skills & Qualifications:
Resourceful and curious individual with a sharp intellect and the ability to rapidly absorb new concepts
Resilience, perseverance, and an ability to overcome objections
Demonstrate empathy for customers struggles
A knack for learning fast and solving problems
Exceptional phone, written, presentation and interpersonal skills
Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Obsessively organized and able to adapt to changing priorities
Familiarity with Information Technology concepts and ability to learn quickly
Preference to those with SaaS sales experience
Bonus points for experience using Outreach, CRM, and IT sales experience.
Sales experience with a proven track record of overachievement of targets
