Darkroast is a subscription-based creative agency that partners with high-growth CPG and DTC brands to provide world-class design on demand. We're trusted by some of the most exciting food and beverage companies in North America, and we're looking to add a

Business Development Representative (BDR)

to our remote team.

This is a

high-impact role

where you'll be on the front lines of growth--identifying, researching, and connecting with prospects in our ICP to generate qualified meetings for our Account Executive. If you thrive on building relationships, have a knack for uncovering opportunities, and want a clear path to becoming an Account Executive, we'd love to meet you.

What You'll Do



Proactively research, identify, and engage prospects within our ICP (emerging and established CPG & DTC brands). Own the outbound outreach process across email, LinkedIn, and other channels to book qualified meetings for our Account Executive. Manage and maintain our CRM system, ensuring leads and opportunities are properly tracked and followed up on. Continuously find new opportunities by monitoring industry trends, competitor activity, and market shifts. Collaborate closely with the Account Executive and leadership to refine messaging, targeting, and strategy. Represent Darkroast with a friendly, professional, and consultative approach--building trust from the first touchpoint. Prepare to transition into an Account Executive role as you grow with us.

What We're Looking For



3+ years of experience in business development, outreach, or similar outbound sales roles. Proven ability to consistently book meetings and generate pipeline through outbound efforts. High agency: self-starter, independent, and proactive in finding ways to hit and exceed goals. Strong organization and CRM management skills. Excellent communication skills: personable, approachable, and persuasive without being pushy. Must be based in Canada and comfortable working in a remote-first environment.

Nice to have:



Experience in sales for creative agencies or CPG/DTC brands.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
