You will build strong and lasting business relationships with our clients by identifying, selling and cross-selling opportunities, and measuring client satisfaction.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Regional Vice-President & Regional Sales Manager to increase sales and market share of AGF products, by conducting proactive outbound sales calls with new and existing clients
  • Proactively, or when requested, provide support to dealers and brokers on the market and fund performance and management strategies, portfolio manager philosophies/styles/processes as well as portfolio profiles, value added programs, products and company updates, and industry trends
  • Support the Regional VP Sales and Regional Sales Manager by providing clients and prospective clients with product information and materials as required
  • Participate in AGF branch visits, client seminars, branch presentations, road shows, conferences, and industry events
  • Conduct regional market research on organizations and people to identify emerging needs and new sales opportunities, sharing same with team members
  • Monitor sales activity within the territory to identify trends and provide suggestions to clients in order to retain assets
  • Establish and maintain strong internal and external relationships to allow for the identification, optimization, and realization of sales
  • Support the building of sales and client relationships through the booking of client meetings primarily for the Regional Vice-President Sales and for the Regional Sales Manager, as required
  • Effectively utilize provided sales tools including technology (CRM, Leads Module) to best achieve required business results
  • Keep abreast of changes in the market and incorporate that knowledge into conversations with advisors. Stay current with competition and effectively communicate advantages and opportunities when presented with competitive situations.
  • Maintain up to date client information in the CRM database
  • Ensure compliance and governance procedures are adhered to with respect to expense management and other regulated aspects of the job
  • Provide effective product and sales support to cultivate relationships and drive sales
  • As required, and approved by the Retail Vice-President Sales and District Vice-President participate in and/or lead client visits
Your Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in finance or related field
  • Strong asset to have financial industry experience
  • Knowledge of Salesforce.com a strong asset
  • Strong computer and phone skills, including Microsoft Office (word, excel, power point)
  • Developed presentation skills and telephone skills
  • Ability create and maintain client relationships
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, judgment & decision-making skills
  • Self-motivated and ability to be a great team player
Additional Strengths you may bring to the role:
  • Successful completion of IFIC and CSC or equivalent
  • Thorough knowledge of the securities industry and particularly of the stock and bond markets and how they relate to mutual funds

  • Offrir de fa\xc3\xa7on proactive, ou sur demande, un soutien aux courtiers, en ce qui concerne le rendement du march\xc3\xa9 et des fonds, les strat\xc3\xa9gies de gestion, les philosophies, les styles et les processus des getionnaires de portefeuille, ainsi que les profils des portefeuilles, les programmes \xc3\xa0 valeur ajout\xc3\xa9e, les mises \xc3\xa0 jour concernant les produits ou les soci\xc3\xa9t\xc3\xa9s et les tendances au sein de l\xe2\x80\x99industrie.

  • Utiliser efficacement les outils de vente fournis, y compris la technologie (module Leads du CRM) pour obtenir les r\xc3\xa9sultats d\xe2\x80\x99affaires requis
  • Suivre l\xe2\x80\x99\xc3\xa9volution du march\xc3\xa9 et incorporer les informations obtenues dans les conversations avec les conseillers.   • Baccalaur\xc3\xa9at en finance ou dans un domaine connexe
  • L\xe2\x80\x99exp\xc3\xa9rience dans l\xe2\x80\x99industrie de la finance est un atout important
  • La connaissance de Salesforce.com est un atout important
