WD Co-Auto is looking for a Solutions Consultant - Direct Programs to help drive sales growth and program adoption across Western Canada. Based in Calgary, you will be responsible for developing new opportunities, managing key dealership accounts, and working closely with vendors, General Managers, Controllers, and Fixed Operations Managers to deliver exclusive purchasing programs and cost-saving solutions.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced B2B sales professional with a proven track record in business development, relationship management, and consultative sales.
What You'll Do
• Drive Business Development & Close Deals - Proactively generate your own leads while also working with hot leads provided by field sales staff to grow Direct Program sales.
• Sell & Consult on Direct Programs - Meet with dealership General Managers, Controllers, and Fixed Operations Managers to review exclusive purchasing programs, contract terms, and pricing advantages that drive profitability.
• Strategic Vendor Collaboration - Liaise with vendor partners to enhance program offerings, develop marketing strategies, and coordinate sales initiatives.
• Account Growth & Retention - Manage existing dealership members, ensuring continued engagement, program adoption, and purchasing volume growth.
• Sales Planning & CRM Management - Maintain a strong sales pipeline by tracking opportunities, setting follow-ups, and managing customer interactions using our CRM system.
Who You Are
• Experienced B2B Sales Professional - You have a minimum of 4+ years of B2B sales experience, with a strong understanding of business development, consultative sales, and closing high-value deals.
• Motivated to Succeed - A high performer who wants to crush sales targets and become a top revenue generator.
• Relationship-Driven & Consultative - You understand that sales is about building trust, delivering value, and influencing decision-makers.
• Self-Starter with a Business Development Mindset - You thrive on hunting for new opportunities, leveraging both cold and warm leads to accelerate success.
• Comfortable Working with Executive-Level Decision-Makers - You can confidently engage and sell to GMs, Controllers, and Fixed Operations Managers, tailoring solutions to their business needs.
• Highly Organized & Detail-Oriented - Managing multiple accounts and opportunities requires strong follow-up skills, CRM proficiency, and effective calendar management.
• Adaptable & Growth-Oriented - Always eager to learn new programs, adjust to market trends, and bring innovative solutions to dealerships.
What You Bring
• 4+ years of B2B sales experience (automotive or related industry experience is an asset).
• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with executive-level decision-makers.
• Strong business development skills, with experience generating and closing sales opportunities.
• Proficiency in CRM software and scheduling tools to track sales activities.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to travel across Western Canada as needed for in-person meetings.
