Area of Responsibility

1. The successful candidate will bring experience from the residential mortgage lending industry. The key responsibilities of the Manager, Business Development (Mortgages) will be to:

a. Establish business relationships with mortgage brokerage firms, brokers & agents in their respective area of operation and generate business for the

Bank in line with the organizational goals.

b. BDMs will generate new banking opportunities from existing and new customers, mortgage to be originated from various internal/external channels (including Real Estate agents, Mortgage brokers, builders and branch customers).

c. Plan & implement effective sales and cross-selling strategies.

d. Train mortgage brokers and agents regarding ICICI Bank Canada products; and

e. Manage key mortgage brokerage accounts/ Branches/ events that the Bank participates.

All originations must meet or exceed the targets for asset quality of the Bank.

2. Work towards the organizational goals alongside the Credit teams/ underwriters and other service providers.

3. Plan and implement the marketing and communication strategies in the respective areas, in consultation with the National Sales Head, Mortgages and Marketing team. Become a key brand ambassador in the region

4. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned from time to time by the reporting manager.
