Overview


We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Outside Account Manager to join our team. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in B2B sales, business development, and technical sales. The successful candidate will be responsible for cultivating and maintaining client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering tailored solutions to meet client needs. The position offers an exciting opportunity to lead strategic initiatives, leverage marketing insights, and utilize advanced CRM tools such as Salesforce to drive growth. A passion for the commercial and residential construction, design, retail sales, cabinetry, and other high end home products are a must. Excellent communication skills and leadership qualities are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities



Develop and execute strategic account plans to maximize revenue growth and client retention Engage in warm calling and prospecting to identify new business opportunities within assigned territories Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through regular meetings, presentations, and follow-up communications Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements that align with company policies while meeting client needs Collaborate with internal teams including marketing, technical support, and product development to deliver comprehensive solutions Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competitive positioning, and potential areas for expansion Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through closing deals and onboarding new clients Utilize Salesforce or similar CRM platforms to track activities, forecast sales, and analyze account performance Lead presentations and product demonstrations tailored to client requirements Provide ongoing account management support, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction

Experience



Proven track record in B2B sales, preferably within technology or industrial sectors Strong negotiation skills with experience closing complex deals Demonstrated success in business development and expanding existing accounts Familiarity with marketing strategies that support sales initiatives Experience using Salesforce or comparable CRM tools for pipeline management and analysis Background in technical sales or selling technology solutions is highly desirable Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate value propositions effectively Leadership qualities with the ability to influence decision-makers at various levels Analytical skills to interpret market data and develop strategic insights Experience in warm calling techniques to generate new leads and nurture prospects
