We are looking for a Business Development Manager on our sales team who will be responsible for creating and developing ongoing business relationships with our client's senior managers, VPs and technical marketing staff. As a sales role you will also be selling ActiveDEMAND products and services to meet or exceed sales targets in the region/accounts assigned - 90% of our clients are based in the USA, communication is via video call, phone, email etc.

The successful candidate will report directly to the Vice President of Sales & Marketing and will thrive in an environment which allows them to work independently and with a sense of accountability and autonomy.

We will count on you to support in development and execution of a clearly defined sales strategy in a manner that supports consistent business growth and enhances ActiveDEMAND's brand equity.

RESPONSIBILITIES



Creating, managing, coordinating, and executing on all tactics that drive the Sales Annual Operating Plan (AOP) goals. Participating as an active member of the ActiveDEAMND's sales team. Providing detailed and accurate sales forecasting. Attending regularly scheduled sales meetings. Monitoring customer, market and competitor activity and provide feedback to the ActiveDEMAND sales, marketing and technical teams. Understanding the sales process using consultative selling of ActiveDEMAND's products and services. Serving as the primary client contact for technical and business issues for your accounts in collaboration with technical and project teams. Staying abreast of the ActiveDEMAND product roadmap, as well as understanding the scenarios, features and functions within each of the products and how these are applied to address business and technical problems. Understanding business and technical problems addressed by the products including business drivers, evolving business needs, etc. Developing and performing effective demonstrations and presentations of ActiveDEMAND products which address client needs and competitive solutions. Sending out quotes and/or proposals to clients in a timely manner while coordinating between technical and services personnel as needed. Ensuring the client's solutions are technically solid and based on a proper understanding of the current requirements and reinforce the client's perception of the benefits of the company's market focus. Collaborating with the client's organization and decision-making units regularly, creating new opportunities that can be utilized to accelerate account growth; providing feedback on the long-term growth potential in the client's market sector and on critical success factors. Identifying and qualifying leads while consistently closing business to meet or exceed your sales quotas and goals; securing a long-term business relationship with the client as the basis for growing business. Managing and maintaining opportunities in the CRM to support sales revenue goals and forecasting. Maintaining high customer satisfaction ratings that meet ActiveDEMAND standards. Generating and maintaining a credible sales funnel forecast for accounts and/or regions that you are responsible for. Augmenting professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications and establishing personal networks.

QUALIFICATIONS



Education and Experience:



Preferred experience or industry knowledge of: Senior Living, Marketing Agency, Software Sales, Marketing Automation Software Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience 2 years of strategic sales experience in a business-to-business sales environment. Experience with strategic account planning. Proven sales track record for exceeding sales targets and quotas. Technical competence is considered an asset (e.g., understanding software, hardware, networks)

Skills and Knowledge:



Strong strategic planning and analysis skills in sales strategies. Ability to plan and execute at both strategic and operational levels. Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create a results-driven, team-oriented environment. Excellent verbal and written communication with team members and clients, including extremely effective public speaking skills and presence. Outstanding customer service skills. Ability to cope with conflicting demands and prioritize tasks. Outstanding organizational skills.
