We're expanding our footprint in North America and are seeking a
results-oriented Business Development Manager
to drive growth, build lasting client relationships, and lead regional expansion initiatives from our Vancouver hub.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new B2B business opportunities in the
VoIP, telecom, and enterprise communication sectors
Develop and execute regional growth strategies focused on
wholesale voice, SMS, SIP trunking
, and
cloud-based telephony
Build strong client relationships through regular engagement, presentations, and solution-selling
Lead the
full sales cycle
: lead generation, prospecting, deal negotiation, closing, and onboarding
Collaborate with the global operations and technical teams to ensure seamless delivery and customer satisfaction
Track sales KPIs, market trends, and competitor activities to guide strategic decision-making
Represent LotusTelco at local and international industry events, trade shows, and client meetings
Requirements
3-5 years of proven experience in
business development or sales within the telecom, VoIP, or tech sector
Strong understanding of
VoIP technologies
,
carrier relations
, or
voice termination markets
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
Experience with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce)
Based in or willing to relocate to
Vancouver, BC
Preferred Qualifications
Existing relationships with telecom carriers or enterprise clients
Familiarity with
Microsoft Teams integrations

SIP routing
, or
cloud PBX systems
Multilingual proficiency is a plus
