Overview


We are a starup Elderly Caregiver company seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in expanding our company's market presence, building strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth, in addition to building partnerships with hospitals, private household clients, discharge planners, and retirement homes to get business and referrals. This position also manages the daily roster, work assignments, and worker assignments.

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and collaborating across departments to achieve organizational goals.

Duties



Identify and pursue new Elder Care business opportunities through market research, networking, and industry analysis. Develop and execute strategic plans to expand the company's customer base and increase sales revenue. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders using effective Customer Relationship Management (CRM) techniques. Collaborate with marketing specialist to develop targeted campaigns that support business growth initiatives. Manage projects related to new business initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with company standards. Utilize CRM tools to track leads, manage pipelines, and analyze sales data for continuous improvement. Prepare presentations, proposals, and reports for internal review and client meetings. Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging market opportunities to inform strategic decision-making. Manage the daily worker rosters, handle last-minute call-outs, and ensure every client has a PSW assigned. Provide intake tasks and fulfill first point of contact for new clients; collect medical history and service requirements. Assist with hiring, vetting (background checks), and onboarding new PSWs to keep the talent pool full.

Requirements



Proven experience in business development, sales, or related roles within a competitive industry. Excellent project management capabilities to oversee multiple initiatives simultaneously. Proficiency in marketing strategies and tools to support outreach efforts. Demonstrated ability in customer relationship management to foster long-term partnerships. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage diverse stakeholders effectively. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
