We are seeking a dynamic and self-motivated Business Development Manager to join our team. This is a full-time role with a competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $90,000 per year, complete with benefits including an automobile allowance, dental care, extended health care, life insurance, and flexible work-from-home options. Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Relationship Management:
Drive major account relationships and support strategic business development initiatives.
Develop strong professional relationships with key account contacts.
Prospect and cold call to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.
Sales & Strategic Planning:
Manage sales pipeline and provide management with accurate forecasts of sales activities.
Present tailored sales presentations to current or new customers.
Collaborate with the VP of Business Development to align and execute sales plans and strategies.
Event Coordination & Marketing Support:
Event Planning:
Plan and execute industry tradeshows, partner events, and internal conferences like our Annual PuroClean Conference.
Coordinate logistics such as venue booking, catering, signage, AV requirements, and on-site support.
Monitor event timelines, manage action item logs, and ensure events are delivered within budget.
Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to ensure brand consistency and event excellence.
Gather feedback, analyze event performance, and provide recommendations for improvements.
Marketing Support:
Assist in maintaining and updating digital presence on platforms like Google My Business, LinkedIn, and Facebook.
Create marketing collateral such as brochures, presentations, newsletters, and promotional materials.
Support national marketing campaigns and initiatives.
Coordinate relationships and membership renewals with industry associations.
Track and support internal reporting using tools like HubSpot and Google Analytics.
Technical Proficiency:
Proficient in Adobe, PowerPoint, and Canva for creating engaging content and presentations.
Requirements
Minimum of two years of experience in the Insurance/Restoration Industry.
Post-secondary education or a combination of related education and experience.
Proven experience in business development and managing key accounts.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Must own a reliable vehicle, with a valid driver's license and a clean driver's abstract.
