As an ambassador of Flash Security, the MBD will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, building a strong sales pipeline, and supporting client retention. This role is focused on developing long-term relationships, delivering tailored security solutions, and aligning business growth with the organization's strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales
Develop and execute an annual Sales Plan for assigned sectors and regions.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through research, networking, referrals, tenders, and cold outreach.
Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and relationship-building to proposal development, negotiation, and closing.
Create compelling presentations and proposals tailored to client needs.
Monitor competitor activities and recommend strategies to gain competitive advantage.
Client Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure renewals and upselling opportunities.
Collaborate with Client Relations and Operations teams to ensure smooth handoff after sales.
Support client site setups, contract renewals, and service adjustments.
Participate in site meetings with property managers, boards of directors, or clients as needed.
Strategic Growth
Contribute insights on market trends, pricing, and customer needs to senior leadership.
Assist in identifying and responding to RFPs, ensuring competitive and timely submissions.
Support national growth by coordinating with colleagues in other territories when required.
Collaboration & Support
Work closely with operations, scheduling, and site teams to ensure seamless client onboarding.
Partner with marketing to maximize lead generation campaigns.
Provide periodic reporting on pipeline, sales activity, and results.
Qualifications
Minimum
3-5 years of B2B sales experience
, preferably in
physical security, facilities services
, or janitorial services.
Strong background in
business development, client management, and contract negotiation
.
Post-secondary education in business or related field is preferred; equivalent experience considered.
Strong communication and presentation skills with proven ability to influence decision-makers.
High level of organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle (required).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and CRM tools.
Valid Ontario Security License, First Aid/CPR, and WHMIS are considered assets.
