Our client a well known logistics company is currently searching for a Business Development Manager for one of their divisions in Milton. Great opportunity to work with an amazing organization!

Responsibilities

• The primary responsibility of the Business Development / Account Manager is to acquire new accounts using a strategic approach to increasing sales revenue and to drive growth with prospects within a specific target of customers looking for 3PL Warehousing and Transportation services.
• Achieve growth goals assigned through cold calling, customer meetings and customer presentations.
• Maintain administrative processes on a weekly basis, included but not limited to: various reports, and CRM updates
• Responsible for servicing accounts, information management, monthly reporting, training, and meeting targets.
• Responsible for revenue attainment, customer satisfaction and revenue retention.
• Consult with new customers after sales or signed contracts to resolve problems and/or ongoing support and customer service.
• Complete the new customer onboarding program and checklist detailing both customer and operational requirements for all new key accounts or significant expansion within existing accounts.

• Minimum 2 years of successful Inside or Outside Sales, or Account Management experience.
• Experience in Logistics or Assets sides of the North American trucking market.
• Experience with LTL and Truckload
• High tolerance for stress and the flexibility to manage changing priorities.
• Demonstrated project management experience.
• Analytical skills to include proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
