Job Description


On target income (OTI) is composed of your base salary + commission/bonus structure. OTI is a forecast of your potential earnings for the role.

For two decades, our client has been a leader in British Columbia\xe2\x80\x99s building service industry. Offering an extensive building restoration product suite, they support commercial, residential, and engineering clients with top of the line restoration services.Their project managers offer years of knowledge ensuring that each project is specified properly and managed effectively. They are looking to hire their first ever Business Development Manager to join their superstar team.

They are expanding their product offering and need someone to come support the growth and help them achieve their expansion goals.

The role:

  • Develop & coordinate initiatives to grow new & existing client relationships
  • Target & pursue new opportunities for business
  • Build & maintain trusted relationships with their clients (building owners, engineers and project managers)
  • Meet with clients to understand their needs and offer solutions
  • Facilitate lunch & learn sessions, trade shows, & other client events
  • Maintain database of new and existing client relationships
  • Perform ongoing administration and tracking via their CRM
What you bring to the table:
  • 5+ years experience in B2B sales & business development
  • Previous experience in the building renewal / construction industry
  • You want to work for a small business where your opinion matters and decisions are made quickly
  • Proven dedication to ongoing education to improve your industry knowledge
  • Driven self starter, with a preference for shaping your own schedule
  • Resilient, seeing obstacles as opportunities to improve
  • Detail oriented, taking pride in the quality of your work
  • Experience with Google Sheets and CRM
