About the Role
We are seeking a driven, entrepreneurial Business Development Lead to help build and grow our Electrical Division. You will be the primary sales driver -- responsible for finding work, pricing it, closing it, and building lasting relationships that lead to repeat business.
This is a hunter role -- perfect for someone who thrives on being out in the field, connecting with homeowners, general contractors, builders, developers, property managers, and building owners, and turning opportunities into signed contracts.
What You'll Do
Drive New Sales
Prospect aggressively to bring in new electrical work across residential and light commercial markets.
Build and maintain relationships with GCs, builders, developers, property managers, and building owners to secure recurring work.
Own the Quoting Process
Prepare and present competitive quotes for service calls, small projects, and large-scale electrical jobs.
Follow up on open bids and drive them to a close.

Grow Market Share
Consistently hit monthly and quarterly revenue and closing targets.
Identify and capture untapped opportunities to expand our client base.
Represent GCS Professionally
Be the face of the Electrical Division in the community.
Attend networking events, participate in local associations, and actively build GCS's presence and reputation.
Maintain a standard of responsiveness, quality, and reliability.
Lay the Foundation
Help build quoting systems, client databases, and scalable processes as the division grows.
Collaborate with ownership on future growth opportunities, including acquisitions.
Requirements
Strong electrical trade knowledge -- you must understand electrical systems, service calls, and installation scopes.
Proven track record in sales or business development (construction, mechanical, or electrical industry preferred).
Strong negotiation and closing skills -- you thrive on the chase and know how to win work.
Organized, self-motivated, and relentless about hitting targets.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
