Job Description


Our client a MFDA Mutual Fund dealer in the GTA is looking for an ambitious and energetic Business Development Executive. You will be at the front of the company and will have the dedication to create and apply an effective sales strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Identifying and contacting potential Investment Advisors through networking and marketing methods.
  • Attend trade shows and industry events for prospecting purposes.
  • Arrange business meetings with prospective Advisors.
  • Promote the company\xe2\x80\x99s products/services addressing or predicting clients\xe2\x80\x99 objectives.
  • Planning and directing marketing or advertising campaigns.
  • Collaborating with sales departments and other teams to meet targets.
  • Creating sales presentations for potential Advisors.
  • Managing contracts and tracking in Sales Force.
  • Build long-term relationships with new and existing Advisors.
Requirements and skills:
  • Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive, or a relevant role within the Wealth Management industry.
  • Industry courses (CFP, CFA, CIM, RFP) is considered an asset.
  • A proven sales track record is a must!
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)
  • Proficiency in English
  • Market and industry knowledge.
  • Communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build rapport.
  • Time management and planning skills.
