ISM is looking for a junior sales professional with a proactive approach and experience in selling services. The Business Development Executive should bring a collaborative sales approach and be eager to build new relationships under the guidance of senior team members. Success in this role requires the ability to discuss ISM's service offerings both technically and in terms of business impact.
This role involves supporting the assigned service portfolio and assisting in strategizing growth for clients, revenue, and profits. Responsibilities include contributing to thought leadership initiatives, helping meet customer needs, and ensuring superior service delivery alongside internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate is results-oriented, driven, and focused on learning and delivering effective solutions. This non-union role involves regular business working conditions and occasional travel.Note: the preferred work location for this position is Regina, SK; however, the location will be dependent on the location of the successful candidate.
Responsibilities:Identifies, participates and leads business development activities, including bid and proposal efforts. Works with members of the ISM team to ensure quality of service, on-time delivery and that costs are within target. Serves as a consultant to the client during the design and implementation of the service(s). Manages financial indicators, measurements and costs to meet revenue, profit and growth objectives. Identifies and interfaces with new customers and develops, maintains and expands customer relationships to ensure client satisfaction. Provides direction for assigned portfolio of service(s) including developing and executing the strategy to ensure success of assigned service(s). Accountable for the development, lifecycle and achievement of business objectives (revenue, cost, growth, performance and customer satisfaction) for assigned service(s). Champions assigned service(s) and acts as the point of escalation for issues affecting assigned service(s). Works with members of the team to ensure quality of service, on time delivery and costs are within contract targets. Engages the account team to effectively execute to contract terms, conditions and growth, providing leadership and delivery oversight. Understands and participates in consultative selling techniques to identify business opportunities and to leverage resources in closing new business with the client. Develops and/or assists in the development of service(s) and/or portfolio of services that meet market and customer requirements. Serves as a consultant during the design and implementation of service(s). Increases awareness and understanding through delivery information sessions/presentations on topic(s) relating to areas of responsibility which may include a sales focus, technology future view, etc. Drives ISM's success and advocates for our evolving line of services. Leads cross-functional teams as required for multi-disciplinary projects. Understands and manages financial indicators, measurements and costs, to meet contract revenue, profit and growth objectives. Accountable for the profitability of assigned service(s).

Qualifications:University Degree in a relevant field or equivalent industry experience Knowledge of Managed Services, Cloud Computing and Big Data/Analytics would be an asset. Experience interacting with clients. Experience developing business relationships as well as managing and maintaining customer relationships Ability to work independently combined with strong self-motivation and persistence Experience should include high impact service delivery in a rapid paced, time sensitive, high quality environment Knowledge across related service technology platforms considered an asset
