On target income (OTI) is composed of your base salary + commission/bonus structure. OTI is a forecast of your potential earnings for the role.

Our client is a leading manufacturer of power system products for land mobile radio, fixed wireless broadband and industrial power markets.

This is an expansion role as a result of their consecutive 30% YoY growth!

About the role

  • Identify key contacts and decision makers within organizations - list of target accounts have already been identified
  • Visit accounts as necessary to support direct sales efforts (4-6 trips per year for large deals)
  • Manage customer relationships through the entire sales cycle
  • Attend industry functions and events, including tradeshows and networking sessions
  • Maintain a sales forecast and accurate opportunity funnel - work with channel partners to understand for 24 months since you will continue to receive commission on revenue generated from your deal for 24 months
  • Sales cycle - 3 - 12 months
  • Deal sizes - wide variety - $3-5K per tower or small site, and they sell products for at least 200 tower sites per year
About you
  • 5 years B2B sales experience in the telecommunications industry
  • Strong sales acumen - curious mindset, uncover the root cause of objections and help move the sale along
  • Strong knowledge of strategic selling techniques and processes
  • Proactively develop new accounts within key markets
  • Demonstrates effectiveness in linking product features/benefits to client needs
  • Initiates action and follow-ups with customers
  • Proficient knowledge of PC applications such as Salesforce, Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • A moderate degree of travel is required for this position - 4 to 6 times a year for some of the large deals

  • Minimum base salary of $90,000 CAD with a range above depending on experience
