Reports to: Product Manager, Business Development

Purpose of the Role The Business Development Analyst supports the development and execution of the growth strategy for the business, commercial, and marketing teams through the development of analytics dashboards, collection and analysis of market and competitive intelligence, the evaluation of strategic opportunities, and building business cases for future initiatives. They will also provide assistance with the daily coordination of projects including preparing and maintaining project plans, the development of presentation materials to be used with the Board, the executive team and the broader organization and the ongoing documentation of initiatives and any decisions undertaken by the team.

This is a Full Time Remote role and can be based in either Onatrio or British Columbia.

Core Accountabilities

  • Support the development of business cases for growth initiatives and other projects.
  • Develop presentation materials to be used with the Board, executive team and broader organization based on direction from the Product Manager, Business Development
  • Assist in preparing written documents including business development proposals and company information documents for marketing purposes. Work with the Business, Commercial, and Marketing teams to perform market and competitive analysis.
  • Provide data to evaluate and identify strategic opportunities for future initiative.
  • Supporting the development and advancement of Power BI dashboards and reports for senior management, product, and sales teams.
  • Provide quantitative and qualitative data analysis and industry research Document and track projects/initiatives.
  • Work cross-functionally to track/monitor ongoing activities/projects; Maintain project documents (meeting notes, project plans etc).
  • Provide additional analysis as required.
Minimum Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor Degree in Business, Finance, Management, Economics, Engineering or equivalent
  • 2 years of experience in a consulting environment
  • A detailed oriented, self-starter with demonstrated analytical and logical structuring expertise
  • An excellent written and verbal communicator
  • An enthusiastic and collaborative team player
  • High-level of adaptability and emotional intelligence
  • Close attention to detail, with a quality-focused mindset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI with knowledge of DAX and data modelling
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite and well-developed skills in quantitative and financial modeling
  • Demonstrated passion and enthusiasm for the healthcare and life sciences industries in Canada
  • Scientific knowledge or comfort with particularly biology, physiology, biochemistry is considered an asset
  • Dynamic, possessing the ability to prioritize multiple work
