Job Summary



Business Development Coordinator

will work closely with the sales department and collaborate directly with the VP of Commercial Operations. In addition to providing administrative and customer service support to the sales team, this individual will assist in generating sales leads and building strong customer relationships. Furthermore, the Business Development Coordinator will actively participate in the planning and execution of new product and project launches alongside the VP. It would be helpful if the candidate has experience in the heavy machinery, equipment industry, or manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate should be energetic, possess excellent phone etiquette, and demonstrate self-motivation, while also maintaining a team-oriented attitude.

Education and Work Experience



Minimum CEGEP (College Degree) At least 1 year of experience in the sales industry Must be able to communicate fluently in English Bilingual (English & French) is an asset

Key Responsibilities



Outbound calling and emailing (prospecting, customer satisfaction, and database updating) Contact potential customers in the database to establish opportunities for new business Contact existing customers in the database to nurture repeat business Contact existing customers to assess satisfaction with our products Inform customers about sales, promotions, and new product launches Ensure regular contact with potential and existing customers to maintain positive relationships Keep client contact information up to date and accurate Forward potential leads to sales representatives Forward requests for information and quotations to the sales department

Le coordinateur du developpement commercial travaillera en etroite collaboration avec le departement des ventes et collaborera directement avec le vice-president des operations commerciales. En plus de fournir un soutien administratif et de service a la clientele a l'equipe de vente, cette personne aidera a generer des pistes de vente et a etablir de solides relations avec les clients. En outre, le coordinateur du developpement commercial participera activement a la planification et a l'execution des lancements de nouveaux produits et projets aux cotes du vice-president. Une experience dans le domaine de la machinerie lourde, de l'industrie de l'equipement ou du secteur manufacturier serait appreciee. Le candidat ideal doit etre energique, posseder une excellente etiquette au telephone et faire preuve d'auto-motivation, tout en conservant une attitude axee sur le travail d'equipe.

Formation et experience professionnelle



Minimum CEGEP (diplome d'etudes collegiales)

Au moins 1 an d'experience dans le secteur de la vente

Doit etre capable de communiquer couramment en anglais

Le bilinguisme (anglais et francais) est un atout.



Principales responsabilites



Appels et courriels sortants (prospection, satisfaction des clients et mise a jour de la base de donnees)

Contacter les clients potentiels figurant dans la base de donnees afin de creer des opportunites de nouvelles affaires.

Contacter les clients existants dans la base de donnees afin de les fideliser.

Contacter les clients existants pour evaluer leur satisfaction a l'egard de nos produits

Informer les clients sur les ventes, les promotions et les lancements de nouveaux produits.

Assurer un contact regulier avec les clients potentiels et existants afin d'entretenir des relations positives.

Maintenir les coordonnees des clients a jour et exactes

Transmettre les pistes potentielles aux representants commerciaux

Transmettre les demandes d'information et de devis au service commercial.
