The Role:

We are looking for a creative Lead of Business Development and Marketing to lead Myant Animal Sciences marketing ventures that will continue to strengthen our companys market presence in unique ways.

You have a proven track record of managing a brand at a growing company, have a good understanding of the business environment you are placed in, are experienced in using sales techniques to identify opportunities for sales/improvement or new ways to achieve sales objectives, and have done/managed everything from creating engaging content, to running successful ad campaigns, to social media strategy/execution. You have strong leadership and people management skills. Youre comfortable working in a startup environment.

Responsibilities:

• Implementing marketing strategies to bring awareness to Myant Animal Sciences business activities
• Develop, communicate and implement the marketing plan
• Develop and bring your ideas to life for promotional events or activities
• Organize Myant Animal Sciences conferences, shows, and any major events
• Oversee social media marketing strategy and content marketing
• Produce valuable and intriguing content for Myant Animal Sciences online presence and organize all publications
• Continuously conduct market research to keep abreast of trends
• Conduct customer, brand, and product research initiatives
• Be Myant Animal Sciences agent towards external parties such as media, stakeholders, and potential clients and build strategic partnerships

• BSc/BA in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or a relevant field
• 10+ years experience in a relevant field with at least 5 years managing and leading a team
• Proven experience as a Marketing/Business Development Lead
• Content creation experience is required, with the ability to communicate effectively in writing
• Strong copywriting skills
• Having a customer-focused approach
• Strong knowledge of growth marketing, content, social, e-commerce, and SEO
• Thorough knowledge of web analytics and Google Adwords
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent leadership and organizational skills
• Analytical and creative thinking
