The Business Development & Account Manager is responsible for generating new business, managing client relationships, and driving revenue growth across print, signage, promotional products, and packaging services. This role operates under Modern Rentals Ltd. while working on-site at partner company YNOT Digital Inc. The position requires strong sales expertise, relationship management, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure successful project delivery and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute business development strategies to grow revenue and market share
Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities
Manage and grow existing client accounts
Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, agencies, and corporate partners
Conduct client meetings, presentations, and needs assessments
Coordinate with production, design, and operations teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of projects
Maintain customer relationship management records and sales pipeline reporting
Provide accurate sales forecasts and activity updates
Foster a collaborative, professional, and results-driven sales culture
Compensation
Base salary: $50k - $60k per year
Commission: 5% on all personally generated sales, calculated monthly on paid invoices and paid the following month
Qualifications & Experience
Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management
Experience in print sales, signage, promotional products, or packaging preferred
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships
Strong organizational, time management, and follow-up skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
