Job Description


Alteo is looking for a Business Developer for a permanent position based in Montreal.

*** 100% remote ***

Your primary role will be to develop new customers to increase the company\'s market share in North America. You will be involved in the entire sales cycle, via both a strategic and operational approach involving all company contacts.

Responsibilities :

  • Detect projects via prospecting on targets defined with the Management
  • Qualify needs and organize meetings with prospects
  • Prepare and conduct product demonstrations to demonstrate the relevance of the company\'s software solutions
  • Participate in international trade shows and ensure demonstrations to customers or prospects
  • Formalize commercial proposals and ensure commercial and contractual negotiations
  • Be involved in the launch of the project alongside the deployment team
  • Supervise and manage the commercial relationship for the duration of the contract
Profile:
  • DEC/BAC in sales, marketing, business administration or equivalent
  • 3+ years experience in selling complex software solutions such as ERP/CRM etc.
  • Good knowledge of the software industry and long sales cycles
  • Excellent business development and new account acquisition skills
  • Excellent ability to listen and analyze business issues
  • Ability to implement a value-based approach to solutions
  • Ability to act as an advisor to business decision makers
  • Experience in an international environment (asset)
  • Excellent communicator, pedagogue and assertive, able to communicate with all levels of interlocutors
  • Fluency in English is essential (oral and written). French is a plus.

Votre r\xc3\xb4le principal sera de d\xc3\xa9velopper de nouveaux clients afin d\'accro\xc3\xaetre les parts de march\xc3\xa9 de la compagnie en Am\xc3\xa9rique du Nord. Vous serez impliqu\xc3\xa9 sur l\xe2\x80\x99ensemble du cycle de vente, via une approche \xc3\xa0 la fois strat\xc3\xa9gique et op\xc3\xa9rationnelle impliquant l\xe2\x80\x99ensemble des interlocuteurs de la compagnie.

Responsabilit\xc3\xa9s :
  • D\xc3\xa9tecter les projets via une prospection sur des cibles d\xc3\xa9finies avec la Direction
  • Qualifier les besoins et organiser les rendez-vous avec les prospects
  • Pr\xc3\xa9parer et r\xc3\xa9aliser les d\xc3\xa9monstrations produits pour d\xc3\xa9montrer la pertinence des solutions logicielles de la compagnie
  • Participer aux salons internationaux et assurer les d\xc3\xa9monstrations vis-\xc3\xa0-vis des clients ou prospects
  • Formaliser les propositions commerciales et assurer la n\xc3\xa9gociation commerciale et contractuelle
  • S\xe2\x80\x99impliquer dans le lancement du projet aux c\xc3\xb4t\xc3\xa9s de l\xe2\x80\x99\xc3\xa9quipe du d\xc3\xa9ploiement
  • Superviser et g\xc3\xa9rer la relation commerciale sur la dur\xc3\xa9e du contrat
Profil :
  • DEC/BAC en vente, marketing, administration des affaire ou l\'\xc3\xa9quivalent
  • 3+ ann\xc3\xa9es d\'exp\xc3\xa9rience dans la vente de solutions logicielles complexes de type ERP/CRM etc.
  • Bonne connaissance de l\'industrie de l\'\xc3\xa9dition logicielle et des longs cycles de vente
  • Excellentes capacit\xc3\xa9s en d\xc3\xa9veloppement commercial et acquisition de nouveaux clients grands comptes
  • Excellentes capacit\xc3\xa9s d\xe2\x80\x99\xc3\xa9coute et d\xe2\x80\x99analyse des probl\xc3\xa9matiques m\xc3\xa9tiers
  • Capacit\xc3\xa9 \xc3\xa0 r\xc3\xa9aliser une approche des solutions par la valeur
  • Capacit\xc3\xa9 \xc3\xa0 avoir une posture de conseiller aupr\xc3\xa8s de d\xc3\xa9cideurs m\xc3\xa9tiers
  • Exp\xc3\xa9rience dans un environnement international (atout)
  • Excellent communicateur, p\xc3\xa9dagogue et assertif, capable de communiquer avec tous niveaux d\'interlocuteurs
  • Anglais courant indispensable (oral et \xc3\xa9crit). Le fran\xc3\xa7ais est un plus.
