About the Role
As a Business Development Representative Level II, you will play a key role in building strong customer relationships, driving vendor initiatives, and supporting partner enablement activities. You'll act as a trusted subject matter expert (SME) on products and programs for the sales organization. This role focuses on helping partners grow by conducting outreach, following up on leads, managing pipeline opportunities, and expanding relationships across organizations.
What You'll Do:
Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, ensuring their needs are met and concerns addressed promptly.
Deliver exceptional customer service and act as a primary point of contact for consultations.
Collaborate with vendors to design and implement strategic initiatives that foster business growth.
Support partner enablement through vendor training and guidance on product and program knowledge.
Manage vendor pipelines by identifying and qualifying leads, and advancing opportunities through the sales cycle.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely follow-up and accurate reporting.
Develop expertise in vendor products, programs, and industry trends to provide informed guidance.
Analyze data and metrics to identify improvement opportunities and implement strategies for success.
Apply creative problem-solving and technical knowledge to configure, price, quote, and process requests for hardware, software, and services.
Provide education and technical guidance on product alternatives and cross-reference assistance.
Participate in account planning and review processes with the sales team.
Conduct customer consultations and deliver vendor training as an SME.
Attend vendor-led industry training sessions as needed.
What We're Looking For:
2-5 years of relevant experience preferred.
Post-secondary degree preferred; high school diploma required.
Experience with Fortinet preferred, with a strong understanding of network security and related technologies.
Strong understanding of sales processes and terminology.
Excellent communication skills, including presentations and negotiations.
Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Strong organizational and time management skills with a commitment to results.
Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced environment.
Relationship-building skills with empathy and professionalism.
Proficiency in learning new systems and technology; intermediate computer skills.
Analytical mindset with problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
Willingness to travel as needed.
Flexibility to work occasional non-standard hours or overtime.

En tant que Representant(e) au developpement des affaires - Niveau II, vous jouerez un role cle dans l'etablissement de relations solides avec les clients, la promotion des initiatives des fournisseurs et le soutien des activites de mobilisation des partenaires. Vous agirez comme expert(e) en la matiere (SME) pour les produits et programmes aupres de l'equipe des ventes. Ce poste vise a aider les partenaires a croitre en effectuant des demarches proactives, en assurant le suivi des pistes, en gerant les opportunites dans le pipeline et en developpant des relations au sein des organisations.
Vos responsabilites:
Etablir et maintenir des relations positives avec les clients, en veillant a repondre a leurs besoins et a leurs preoccupations rapidement.
Offrir un service a la clientele exceptionnel et agir comme point de contact principal pour les consultations.
Collaborer avec les fournisseurs afin de concevoir et mettre en oeuvre des initiatives strategiques favorisant la croissance des affaires.
Soutenir la mobilisation des partenaires par la formation des fournisseurs et l'acquisition de connaissances sur les produits et programmes.
Gerer les pipelines des fournisseurs en identifiant et en qualifiant les pistes, et en faisant progresser les opportunites dans le cycle de vente.
Coordonner avec les equipes internes pour assurer un suivi rapide et des rapports precis.
Developper une expertise sur les produits, programmes et tendances du secteur afin de fournir des conseils eclaires.
Analyser les donnees et indicateurs pour identifier des opportunites d'amelioration et mettre en place des strategies de reussite.
Appliquer des competences creatives en resolution de problemes et des connaissances techniques pour configurer, etablir les prix, preparer les devis et traiter les demandes pour le materiel, les logiciels et les services.
Fournir des conseils techniques et educatifs sur les produits alternatifs et l'assistance en matiere de references croisees.
Participer a la planification et aux processus de revision des comptes avec l'equipe des ventes.
Effectuer des consultations aupres des clients et offrir des formations fournisseurs en tant qu'expert(e).
Assister aux seances de formation sectorielle dirigees par les fournisseurs, au besoin.
Profil recherche:
Experience pertinente de 2 a 5 ans (preferee).
Diplome postsecondaire (prefere); diplome d'etudes secondaires requis.
Experience avec Fortinet souhaitee, avec une solide comprehension de la securite reseau et des technologies connexes.
Bonne comprehension des processus et de la terminologie de vente.
Excellentes competences en communication, y compris en presentation et en negociation.
Capacite a collaborer efficacement avec des equipes et parties prenantes diversifiees.
Solides competences organisationnelles et en gestion du temps, axees sur les resultats.
Adaptabilite et resilience dans un environnement dynamique.
Aptitude a etablir des relations avec empathie et professionnalisme.
Maitrise des nouveaux systemes et technologies; competences informatiques intermediaires.
Esprit analytique avec aptitudes en resolution de problemes et en prise de decision.
Disponibilite pour voyager au besoin.
Flexibilite pour travailler occasionnellement en dehors des heures normales ou faire des heures supplementaires.
