WHAT YOU\xe2\x80\x99LL DO

This key position will be part of the Global Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team, reporting directly to the CAPEX director. In this manager role, you will provide financial guidance on capital expenditure governance, a central pillar in achieving the company\xe2\x80\x99s strategic goal. This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate across departments and contribute to the continued growth of the business.

Capital Expenditure Budgeting Process

  • Define and coordinate capital allocation process, standards and templates
  • Work with management to establish annual and rolling CAPEX targets
  • Consolidate annual capital requirements.
  • Support the investment portfolio prioritization process by evaluate incoming requests based on their financial and strategic implications. Collaborate with management to allocate resources effectively, balancing urgency of requests, potential business impact, and alignment with company strategy.
  • Maintain accurately updated project portfolio in the budgeting tool and ensure alignment on incoming requests with business stakeholders through effective communication.
  • Facilitate the approval of the capital plan and own the capital reallocation process
  • Assist the Financial, Planning & Analysis team with the budgeting of benefits associated with investments
  • Intake and review the necessary documentation.
Supporting Business Case creation
  • Define and maintain the business case guideline and standard template
  • Assist with the review of business cases
  • Educate stakeholders on business case best practices
Capital Expenditure Reporting Process
  • Define and maintain CAPEX reporting templates and requirements with the Alignment of the Accounting, Controlling and Tax teams.
Capital Expenditure Ad-Hoc Request and analysis
  • Assist with special projects and various requests.
Capital Expenditure Tracking and Analysis
  • Coordinate, report, analyze and provide insight on investment spending, forecast and returns
Continuous Improvement
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing team objective as needed.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance data-related processes, tools, and workflows.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to drive innovation and efficiency improvements while having a strong drive to Make IT Easy
  • Define the investment categorization with its expected return.
WHAT YOU\xe2\x80\x99LL NEED
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business with 7-10 years of relevant experience preferably in financial analysis, strategic planning, or budgeting and forecasting
  • Must have advanced knowledge of Excel; working knowledge PowerPoint, Word, and SharePoint. And an aptitude to learn new tools / systems
  • Experience working with accounting applications such as PDI & JDE would be a plus
  • Experience with Power BI would be a strong asset
  • Must have strong analytical and quantitative abilities; Must have strong attention to detail while being able to synthesis information.
  • Experience working with large and complex datasets
  • Must have strong communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of management.
  • Comfortable working independently, in cross-functional teams, and in a global role
  • Must be willing to adapt to a dynamic business environment, balancing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines
  • Comfortable initiating actions and taking responsibility to secure agreed output
  • Collaborate effectively and build professional networks
  • Motivated by challenging tasks and complex projects across many countries and regions
  • Language skills: Bilingualism is mandatory (French and English) in both writing and speaking.
