The Opportunity
This role will provide you with the opportunity to understand how the firm works from behind the scenes as well as great exposure to leadership, all accounts and partners across the firm. We are looking for an experienced Senior or Manager to join our Canadian Consulting Quality team to support the important business enablement functions that keep our Consulting organization running strong. As a driven enablement professional, you will work across teams to provide the knowledge, resources and tools that help EY deliver exceptional quality service to our clients, win in the marketplace and support EY’s growth and profitability. This is a rotational position with a minimum commitment of 2 years initially with the potential for extension if desired. You will be responsible for supporting the Business Enablement function of the Consulting Quality team by assisting with our Deal Governance processes, conducting training and awareness activities, and developing training for all levels of Consulting professionals. Additionally, you will be knowledgeable of Consulting policies to help teams interpret and apply policy and guidance to their engagements. You are a driven and collaborative professional with strong communication skills who enjoys working in tandem with your colleagues while striving to understand and anticipate the needs and expectations of our Consulting colleagues. You will create an ease for our project teams to work through the internal processes and you will have broad exposure to the various deals in Canada, across all sectors and competencies providing a tremendous learning opportunity and exposure within the Firm. Your key responsibilities also include:

  • Providing guidance to account teams/pursuit teams to ensure they understand the steps they must take during the pursuit process as it relates to our various regulatory requirements (for example PACE, Deal Governance, ACV checklists, independence and BRET)
  • Technology support: Liaising closely with the technology team maintaining Canadian Quality website
  • Planning & preparation: Participating in team meetings, reviewing upcoming events, discussing logistical matters, identifying, and resolving potential challenges
  • Planning, preparation, and support delivery of onboarding training for Leadership and teams across Canada
  • Supporting client serving teams with application and completion of key risk management and service quality policies and procedures (includes but not limited to PACE, Service Quality, ACV checklist procedures and BRETs)

To qualify for the role, you must have
  • Exceptional client service experience
  • Aptitude to differentiate when to act independently or team up with others
  • Outstanding communication skills and a keen eye for details

Ideally, you’ll also have
  • Professional services firm experience
  • The ability to speak in both French and English
