Business Analyst

Mandatory On-Site: 5 days in-office in Downtown Toronto or Waterloo

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the gathering and analysis of business and technical requirements from stakeholders. Develop comprehensive requirements artifacts such as specifications, test cases, mockups, workflows, and user stories. Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and development teams to ensure alignment on project goals. Utilize design/prototyping tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Axure, or Visio to create detailed mockups and prototypes. Provide strategic input on UX/UI designs based on modern trends across devices and platforms. Analyze complex data inputs from both business and technical perspectives to define actionable solutions. Maintain strong documentation standards with a focus on detail and accuracy.

Who You Are:

A seasoned professional with 5+ years of experience in business analysis or related roles (e.g., UI/UX design, product management). Strong technical background with knowledge of at least one programming language to facilitate communication with development teams. Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies. Advanced proficiency in design/prototyping tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Axure, or Visio. Expertise in converting complex business input into clear technical requirements. Exceptional communication skills for working with clients and cross-functional teams at all levels. Proven ability to document processes comprehensively while maintaining attention to detail.
