Your future duties and responsibilities




We are seeking a Senior Consultant to provide responsibilities as a Business Analyst. The successful candidate will have a strong delivery background in the Financial Services Sector. In the role of Business Analyst, you would be responsible for the successful delivery to budget, time and customer satisfaction, enabling new and existing business.




Key Areas of Responsibility:

Development of project requirements

Leading other Business Analysts within the project and different work streams.

Attending regular status meeting with team and clients and providing regular status reporting. Playing a lead role in the development of business requirements documentation.

Prepare and present to senior client executives.


Formally document findings and present proposed solutions to clients.

Provide Business Analysis support in Agile projects.

Write high level functional and non-functional requirements.

Develop use case views and use cases.

Facilitate requirements workshops with client and technical team members.

Effectively interact with and communicate requirements to technical team members.


Participate in defining and potentially executing some aspects of system testing.

Assist in defining estimates.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role




Five years or more as a Banking Business Analyst

Possess excellent interpersonal skills and well-developed written, verbal and presentation skills. Must be goal oriented, results driven and client focused

Strategic and operational business planning.


Change management and communications.


Undergraduate degree such as Business, Engineering, or Computer Science or equivalentDesirable Skills.


Change Management training and certification.


Business Analysis certification. Wealthview Banking and Ovation experience



A minimum of 5 years related IT experience.

Superior interpersonal, leadership skills.

Superior verbal and written English communication skills.

Ability to work in a team environment.

Ability to perform successfully under limited supervision

Strong problem solving, analytical and decision-making abilities

Ability to work under pressure with multiple priorities

A passion towards corporate social responsibility



CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors including but not limited to skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licensure and certifications. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range in British Columbia is $65,000 - $130,000.
