Candidate profile details:
Degree/Certifications Required: PMP/ MBA/CFA would be ideal.
Years of Overall Experience: 5 plus years experience
Preferred Candidate Background: previous derivatives ops experience- project management exp within that subject matter.
Confirmations platforms, trading book of records.
Leadership/team mgmt experience
Self- starter, someone who can hit the ground running. Ability to ask the right questions and move things forward.
Calypso experience would be great
Ideal candidate would have project experience with a book of record implementation
How will performance be measured: deliverables
Selling Points of Position (CVP): Important project for the Bank. Opportunity to coordinate with stakeholders from multiple teams, executives/decision makers. Coordination with front office/vendor mgmt communication directly
Summary of day-to-day responsibilities:
Coordinating with internal teams within OTC derivatives ops, settlements, confirmations. Getting a sense of their subject matter expertise and transition that knowledge to the appropriate vendor teams.
Working with chosen vendor with the book of record to be implemented
Working with internal project teams, mapping out key deliverables, workflows
